There was also a big sparrow nest. Had all sorts of interesting stuff in it--hair, moss, string, yarn, grass....
Quinn put all these items (nest, wasp nest and dried lizard) into a container and took it to school. I told Matt that not many kindergarten teachers would receive those treasures with the kind of joy that Quinn's did. Our girl is definitely in the right school! Her class ohhh-ed and ahhhh-ed over the items and they'll go on the nature shelf for closer examination.
