Mimi and Papa brought her a wooden castle-building set from Germany.  They definitely know the way to this girl's heart!  She's been happily building all week.  Beck is also in love with the blocks and makes a beeline straight for them any chance he gets.  Quinn is generous and picks out the biggest pieces for him to play with. 

This makes me REALLY happy.

My little farmer.....

And a random sidenote....Opa--we have been getting some crazy mileage out of the creature box! At least a dozen different annules (they bite, too, not just on Friday, she's learned), a toad, several monarch butterflies, some caterpillars, tons of roly polys, a handful of spiders, a grub, lots of mosquito hoppers (craneflies), and even a moth. We are never outside more than five minutes when she comes running, her hands clasped together around her latest catch and hollering, "Mom, quick, get my bug box!"

This picture below could easily be my favorite photo of the YEAR! I love it on so many levels.

Outside

We've been spending as much time as possible outside on the weekends, playing and working....We know we have to soak up the cool weather while it lasts. And soak it up WE ARE!
