Rewind to last Halloween...

In case you didn't realize how much she's grown!
One year ago at the Halloween Farmer's Market--

As you can see, I am a sucker for sweat-suit costumes and a bit of quality time with some fake fur, poly-fil and my sewing machine! Creates the cutest kangaroos and kitties!

Hi Guys! Welcome to Halloween! (her favorite part of the night was running around the parking lot while she was waiting for us to get everything ready to go inside for the festival!)

(In case you can't tell, I was a crazy cat lady, Quinn was one of my kitties, and Matt was a boy named Sue, pouting because I wouldn't let him bring a 6-inch k-bar knife into the church even though he swore it was part of his costume....I know...how rude.)

She has 3.5 teeth...but she eats apples like a pro!

There's really no arguing that my nephew is the cutest little boy ever! Just look at those eyes!

Farmer's Market Fun

We went and listened to Grandbob's band play at the farmer's market this morning.
The weather was gorgeous.
A bluebird day.
We came home with 6 persimmons,
8 satsumas
(though we started out with 10)
two gorgeous eggplants
one sleepy, sticky, cracked-corn-covered girl.
Her top tooth trying to bust out loved the Greek cookie a vendor couldn't resist sharing.
Her little fingers loved the sandbox filled with cracked-corn for kiddo digging.
Her only complaint was when we tried the hat to Grandbob's viking costume upon her head.
All in all, it was a fabulous way to spend a lazy fall day!

Lil' Punkins!

Q is still a bit young for the madness of the big pumpkin patches, so we went a little counter-Texas-culture and skipped out this year again. Yikes, I will probably be deported back to Wy for sure. Anyhow, we did enjoy exploring all sorts of pumpkins at a big nursery near our house today. They have a big fenced-off area with all types and sizes. We joined a couple of friends and the babies loved the wagon rides, big and little pumpkins, but most of all--the PUDDLES! I wasn't adventuresome enough to carry a pumpkin and two babies back to the car, so we will have to go back and make our pumpkin purchase when Matt gets home tonight.

A message from the babies....

We have sweety-boy K at our house. He had a slumber party with us and is hanging out today, too. The two babies have had so much fun playing with all Quinn's toys, and of course bathtime was a big hit! Quinn couldn't even eat breakfast this morning because she was so interested in every move K made. :) She also keeps touching his hair. A foreign substance to our girl.....Someday, Quinn....someday!
