Riverboat rides make SOME of us tired....

And some of us not so tired!

Basically anything that involves water is a hit with our crew!

Riverboat Ride

We went on a Riverboat ride with the Grandmas and babies. The babies loved crawling all over, standing up and looking out the window and making friends with the other people on board.

After visiting Cousin K's house, the Grandmas came to stay with us for a few days!
We took them to our farmer's market near our house and bought some tomatoes and green beans and canteloupe for dinner. Matt grilled shark steaks to go with it! Yummmm.....

We had lunch at one of our very favorite bakeries and Quinn was amazed by the fountain outside.

Uhhh-ohhhh

Quinn has a little toy Daddy made her and she has recently learned how to put the ball in the hole herself....of course she wouldn't let us catch her doing it on video, but we did get her saying "uhh-ohhh," which is one of her favorites!

Bath Time!

Quinn went with Oma and GG Jan to my sisters where she apparently had a blast hanging out with Cousin K! She really enjoyed all his bath toys!

Meeting Baby K!!!

Matt and I've come to realize that Quinn isn't a tiptoe through the tulips kinda girl....
She's definitely a waller around in the plumbego personality, and we already love that about her!

Working Out....

Our crew has come to realize that the hot weather isn't going anywhere anytime soon....so we've sucked it up and resumed our workout routines regardless. Quinn and I go to a little fitness park in the woods near our house with a gravel track and workout stations along it. While I work out at the stations, Quinn explores....eats the gravel, searches for sticks to wave at Alie, climbs the mulch hills, and pretty much just enjoys getting as dirty as possible. She has also become insistent upon holding Alie's leash at all times, so she crawls around the park with Alie in tow. When she's in the jogger she holds Alie's leash as well....If Alie pulls it away from her she yells at the poor clueless doggy. Hilarious! If Quinn and I go out in the mornings on our free days, she gets a two-a-day when she takes a jog with Daddy in the evenings....sadly Alie-less, but chattering the whole way.

Kitty said, "no more tackling." Someone didn't listen. Ouch!

Back to the doctor...

Today we went back to the doctor for an ear check and everything looked good! Quinn was up to 19.25 lbs this week and moved up to the 37%, so the pediatrician was pleased. She also got her last Hep B shot. I am not too in love with our pediatrician and she always refers to Quinn as a he the whole time....Call me crazy, but I kinda feel like my child's doctor should know her gender??!! Also it's much more of a drive now that we've moved, so I think it's time for a change.
After the doctor we joined Mimi and Aunt Karen for Karen's bday lunch. Quinn loved playing with this light-up magnifying glass Karen had, and I think she actually did it in...the light wasn't coming on anymore by the time Quinn had finished with it. Aunt Karen also gave Quinn a big pickle spear to try. She loved it! She chewed all the soft part off the whole thing. She of course got pickle juice all over herself. After lunch we went to a few stores to shop all together, and I was holding Quinn and kept catching a faint sniff of vinegar, which puzzled me....then I remembered....my picklejuice girl!
